Have you seen those empowering billboards featuring an everyday hero and their motivational message encouraging you to ‘pass it on’?
I pass several billboards regularly but I never quite caught their website to look them up. Not long ago a friend forwarded a quote she enjoyed and thought it may also speak to me. It did. It spoke so loudly that I followed the link to see the source and signed up for my ‘daily quote’. And there were the billboards—it was the same organization: values.com
http://www.values.com/ home of The Foundation for a Better Life.
This unique group serves extraordinarily with this simple mission statement:
The Foundation for a Better Life began as a simple idea to promote positive values. We believe that people are basically good and just need a reminder. And that the values we live by are worth more when we pass them on.
I’m not a huge fan of billboards and believe me Florida has more than our fair share of them; but The Outdoor Advertising Association of America has recognized the Pass It On campaign as “…the most successful public service campaign in the history of outdoor advertising.“ There’s even a brilliant link on their website for viewers to suggest a value—I recommended ‘authenticity’. What value would you choose? Pass it on.
I love this Laura Laura Allen! Thank you!
Thanks “Heather”! Do you have these billboards in CA? Luv you!
