Yup, that’s our cockpit sole or maybe it’s got ‘soul’ now, lol. This grass by Golden Moon is not only realistic looking but feeling and makes for happy feet. It’s adhered to a board we can lift out and it should drain well and not be slippery and it is mold proof. It’s been quite the conversation starter so far, lol!
The starboard bulkhead wall is complete and was built form the bottom up (SO much easier)!
The fridge was relocated and my counter space reduced (nooo!). We’re designing a dinette where the galley used to be—in a perfect world dinette will easily convert into a berth.
Here’s the rough design of the aft seat for dinette: table will go in the center, feet will rest on raised floor, storage underneath. We hope it will be a better use of space as there’s lots of headroom in this area. We’ll use a beautiful wood for the final version and cover with custom cushions.
